  1. Slide the storage tray back into the storage chassis.

    • Make sure no cables are obstructing the path of the tray when sliding the tray into the chassis.

  2. Tighten the storage tray thumbscrew. Route the Powerblade cable behind the storage tray tab.

    • This tab is located just left of the thumbscrew.

  3. Route the Powerblade cable behind the tray cable guide, as annotated.
    • Route the Powerblade cable behind the tray cable guide, as annotated.

    • Connect the Powerblade cable to the storage tray.

    • Rear chassis LEDs will illuminate blue upon a proper connection.

  4. Install the hard disk drives that were previously removed.
    • Install the hard disk drives that were previously removed.

  5. Close and secure the hard disk drive cages. Close and secure the hard disk drive cages. Close and secure the hard disk drive cages.
    • Close and secure the hard disk drive cages.

  6. Slide the tray back into the rack.
    • Slide the tray back into the rack.

    • Secure the tray by locking the both pull handles.

    • Push the handles towards the storage tray.

    • A distinctive 'click' will be heard when the handles have properly locked.

  7. Connect the Mini-SAS cable to the storage tray.
    • Connect the Mini-SAS cable to the storage tray.

  8. Route the Mini-SAS cable in the nylon cable management clip.
    • Route the Mini-SAS cable in the nylon cable management clip.
